If you are unsure, start on the first 100, if they sail through it you can increase the challenge. Common words are a really tricky part of reading because they can’t sound them out so going over them is really helpful. |
| Literacy- Writing We are almost at the end of Kid Normal and the authors left us on a real cliff hanger at the end of chapter 24. I want you to write your own ending to the story. Think about what will happen to Murph, the other characters and how will the story come to an end. Try and challenge yourself to use lots of exciting vocabulary. |
| Art and design- artists hour Today, you become an artist. I want you to draw a portrait. This can be of someone in your house (if they are willing to sit and model for you) or you can do it from a picture of someone you know or maybe even a celebrity. I want youto carefully consider the details you can see in their face. |
