| Literacy fun- Rhyming Activity Activity 1: Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP3UHE0duCU Activity 2: Ask someone in your house to give you a word. How many words that rhyme with that first word can you come up with? Note for adults: Start with words like cat, dog, map, ball. These are words that are easy to rhyme with. You can build up to more challenging words. If your little one is finding this easy, you can challenge them to write a rhyming poem. |
| Literacy- Writing Imagine you wake up and you have shrunk and are absolutely tiny (maybe into the size of an insect). What do you think would happen? Can you write an adventure that you would go on. Thinking carefully about having a beginning, middle and end. Remember to start by setting the scene like we practiced last week. |
| Art and design- drawing in nature Yesterday we chose something in nature to draw. Today I want you to look for something really small to focus on drawing. This could be a leaf, stone, blade of grass, petal etc. How much detail can you get into your drawing? |
