| Health and Wellbeing Yesterday we were figuring out how far our food had to travel to get to where we got it from. We call these food miles. Can you make an information leaflet to give people ideas for why they should reduce their food miles and how they could do this? |

| Numeracy- Sumdog Sumdog- diagnostic tests/daily challenge. There are still quite a few diagnostic tests to finish, these help make sure the questions that sumdog are asking are at the correct level. For those of you who are finished the assessment, there will be a whole class competition. |
| Literacy- reading comprehension Today we are going to think about descriptive writing. You can use this video to help: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zd43d2p Choose one of the following settings. Can you create a word bank of words you could use to describe them? Think carefully about setting the scene. Can you write a description using all the words in your word bank? Coastline (like in the video) Dark woods Beach Playground Haunted house Note for parents: I would recommend spending more time coming up with the word bank. Sometimes little ones can find it tricky to get these words into a written description.
