Tuesday 24th of March – Primary 2/3 Home Learning Timetable

Tuesday 24th of March –  Primary 2/3 Home Learning Timetable
Breakfast   Get Ready for the day ahead
Health and Wellbeing   Take part in the body coach live work out. It starts at 9 but if you want to come back to it later, you’ll be able to access it anytime. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ?reload=9
Daily Check In/ Registration   Draw a picture of yourself or take a selfie and send a copy to your teacher. Let me know how you’re feeling or anything you enjoyed about your learning yesterday. Aine.o’shea@invergordonacademy.org.uk (Yesterday there were some issues with the email address, I’ve sent an email out for everyone to reply to, hopefully this will help today)
Break
Writing Go to https://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/webcams/penguin-cam/#penguincam and spend some time watching the penguins.
Make your own story about a penguin adventure.
Your story should have a beginning, middle and end.
Try to use as many WOW words as you can.

Note for adults: Don’t worry if you can’t read what your child has written. The important part is sharing their story by getting them to read what they have written for you. Praise their imagination and effort.
Feel free to send a photo of the writing to the above email address.
Numeracy Go on to education city and play cloud watching. This is a game found in first 1* and looks at reading numbers to 100. If you have any difficulty accessing or finding this game, choose another you like the look of. https://ec1.educationcity.com/content/index/25876/4/2/1/null/null/false/false/null/0
Lunch
Art   Draw or make a rainbow to stick to a window in your house for everyone who walks by to see.
If you’ve already made a rainbow, draw a picture of your family.
Have you registered? Either send a photo of your picture or selfie with what you enjoyed about your learning yesterday to the email provided or write a comment underneath the blog post.

  1. Good morning Keilidh! Not to worry, this is a big change in routine for her. If you can get her to do a few minutes today that’s great but some days will be harder than others. Maybe she could watch the penguins and draw her story out for you?
