Art Following this drawing tutorial where a famous author and illustrator shows us how he illustrates books. If you find a drawing tutorial you prefer, feel free to use that instead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8yhH7AHty8&fbclid=IwAR3IqnnwYHB6vWWPVzpy26W7jJlKLaMFUaGyiBEtDSaD5ruyv-DpWiGpDpA Follow up: Can you write a sentence under your picture to match it?
Numeracy Go on to education city and play addition impossible. Start with number bonds to 10. https://ec1.educationcity.com/content/index/25957/3/2/1/null/null/false/false/null/0 Want more of a challenge? Try https://ec1.educationcity.com/content/index/25958/3/2/1/null/null/false/false/null/0

Technology Decorate a piece of paper, this can be by designing it or even writing a secret message on it. Turn it into a paper aeroplane and see how far you can get it to fly. Can you find a way to measure the distance? I’ve attached some links on making paper aeroplanes for some inspiration but there is no need to follow them exactly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veyZNyurlwU&disable_polymer=true https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12UJvz0f-8k

We’ll check in by email later (my kiddo is still asleep), but I just want to say how great these lesson plans are and thank you for them!
I was overwhelmed by all the text, the first day, as Abby and I just wanted to ride bikes and play outside. However, each activity is actually fun and engaging. They’re things Abby gets excited about. She’s been so down and we’re all suffering from a rotten neverending cold. It really helps… beyond educationally.
Thank you, Ms O’Shea! You’re doing great!
To everyone else, my baby misses your babies SO MUCH. Isn’t there a way to have a group video chat? All you young moms, figure out the tech, please 😘 xxx

Thank you so much Nicole. I’m really glad to hear that Abby is enjoying the activities.
Hopefully it wont be too long before they are all back playing together.

Morning Brandon, don’t worry about having a bit of an off day. It’s lots of change to get used to. I’m glad to hear Dad has been a good replacement for Joe
